Only 2 days left for $40 in free Uber credit!

Until Jan 31st you can get $20 of free Uber credit through my referral link. Also, after you sign up for an Uber account, you can get an ADDITIONAL $20 of free credit by going to the promotions tab on your Uber homepage and typing in KALEB (Hat tip to View from the Wing). Then, you will have $40 of free Uber credit that never expires! As a disclosure, I get $20 in my account for everyone that signs up through my referral link and takes a ride. You certainly don’t have to use my referral link, but I appreciate it! Again, this is for new users only.

I only use Uber on special occasions like date night, or when there are no taxis in sight an no opportunity for public transportation, as it’s a little more expensive than those two options (although it’s getting closer to taxi fares every year).

I’m about to leave for Milan, using the Wideroe.no mistake fare that popped up at the end of November. My wife and I are going LGA-MXP for around $320 roundtrip COMBINED (and crediting those miles to UA, although we could credit to US Air and have them go towards American eventually). I will submit a trip report when we get back week. Have a great weekend, and keep warm!

  1. Just signed up using your link. I’ve never tried Uber (to be fair, I’m rarely in the supported cities) but hope to try it for an airport transfer in Montreal in February.

  2. I used your referral link, but didn’t receive the $20 credit; however, After entering KALEB on the promotions tab, I did receive that $20 credit.

  3. @Becky – Thanks, and enjoy!
@Ken – are you a brand new user? If so, the KALEB promo may be dead. Per Deals we Like blog, you can possibly get $25 credit by typing BUDLIGHTxxx, where xxx can be any combo of letters and numbers a like 7ys, or dxu. It took me 20 tries, it I eventually found one!

  4. @everyone – I don’t know why it’s not working – it worked fine for two of my residency pals. I just emailed Uber to find out, and I’ll let you know what they say. Sorry
