Earn Priority Club Points When Staying On-Post
Great news from my new best friend Mike (Gamecock on FT) as he reports that Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) now has the management contract for the Army guest houses, now called Army Hotels, and you can earn Priority Club points when staying there. Staying on post is typically cheaper and putting you closer to where you want to be when PCSing or even just staying for a vacation. The downside was always that you got no points and it was always a trade-off between price and convenience versus earning points and status. Now you have no reason not to stay there, especially as they are pet-friendly which means a lot to many military members.
