Finally a Lucrative Military CC Offer

Hat Tip to my friend Daraius over at Million Mile Secrets who found a great offer from the Navy Federal Credit Union as he details here.  It is very rare to find an offer like this which gives 60,000 points just for signing up for their CC and spending $3000.  These points can be redeemed at about $0.01 each for travel meaning $600 worth of discounted plane tickets.  You could also take it as cash back at a reduced rate equaling about $450.  While the CC does have an annual fee of $49, the first year is free, meaning you can cancel if you don’t want to continue using the card to accumulate more points before the year is up.  As usual, you need to be a member of the military, or have a close relative who served, in order to join Navy Federal.
